Development Manager, Organizations

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute fundraising strategies with action plans to diversify organization’s funding sources.
• Build and maintain good relationship to cultivate and steward existing and potential donors.
• Identify opportunities, secure funding, and foster long term support from corporations and foundations through creative fundraising campaigns, grant proposal development and donor collaboration.
• Demonstrate strong management skills in leading and coaching subordinate to grow and perform in a timely and result oriented manner.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of fundraising efforts and organization goals.
• Understand fundraising landscape through conducting research on philanthropic trends and analyzing donor database.
• Assist and participate in Orbis’s activities as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• University graduate in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
• 5-8 years of experience in business development and corporate sales. Experience in fundraising with NGOs is a plus

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese/Mandarin
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
• Excellent time management and project management skills
• Well-organized and proactive with collaborative mindset and can-do attitude
• Strong in computer knowledge including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet. Ability to use AI is a plus
