Deputy Manager, Network & Cooperation Eastwest, Fleet Planning Center

Job Accountabilities:

• To explore network growth opportunity through examining demand outlook and the identification of potential consortium partnership & other possible external collaboration
• To review and optimize network efficiency & vessel deployment strategy in conjunction with trade requirement
• To liaise and negotiate with other shipping lines on the service or corridors required alliance or consortium partnership & joint collaboration in the form of slot charter or exchange or joint services
• To resolve Trade, Operation, Legal or Fleet Management’s concerns from network perspective
• To conduct market research and analysis projects to assist the strategic planning
• To monitor cost and risk exposure
• To perform other ad hoc task and project as assigned

Job Requirements:

• University graduate in Shipping, Logistics Management or Business Administration related disciplines
• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, problem-solving, detail-oriented and good team player
• Proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English, Putonghua is a must
• Proficient in PC skills and MS Office. Strong Excel and Presentation skills are essential
