Data Analysis Summer Internship

We are seeking a motivated ​​Data Analysis Intern​​ to support our Sales team in extracting actionable insights from business data. The intern will collect, analyze, and interpret sales data (covering customers, products, and trends) to identify optimization opportunities and automate reporting processes. This role is ideal for students passionate about data-driven decision-making in a dynamic sales environment.

What will you do

1.         ​​Data Collection & Analysis​​:

• Gather and clean sales data (customer/product performance, financial metrics).
• Perform exploratory analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and business insights.
• Provide data-backed recommendations to improve sales strategies.

2.         ​​Reporting & Communication​​:

• Generate periodic reports (weekly/monthly) for the Sales Director, highlighting key trends and root causes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate findings and align on action plans.

3.         ​​Process Automation​​:

• Develop standardized Excel/Python templates to streamline data updates.
• Implement VBA/Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

What you need

• ​​Education​​: Current undergraduate or graduate student in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, Engineering or related fields.

• ​​Technical Skills​​:

  • Advanced proficiency in ​​Excel​​ (formulas, pivot tables) and ​​VBA​​,Python​​ for automation.

  • Fluent English in read and writing.
  • Familiarity with financial/cost analysis is a plus.

• Soft Skills​​: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to communicate complex findings clearly.

• ​​Mindset​​: Curiosity about data, eagerness to learn, and a problem-solving attitude.
