Job Description

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for supporting Communications and Resource Development. S/he is accountable for writing, translation, editing, and production of the agency’s publications, to ensure the editorial content is well written and reflects the agency’s brand positioning and values.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support on editorial works of publicity and promotional materials/publications, including but not limited to researching, interview handling, content drafting, copyediting, proofreading bilingual contents, and photo shooting for annual report, agency’s magazine, e-news, service reports, and press conference, etc.

  • Upload, publish, and manage online content using the agency’s content-management system

  • Assist with branding tasks, planning, and implementation, including venue booking, logistic arrangement, volunteer management, quotation sourcing, and handling

  • Provide administrative and logistic support on the daily operation of the team, other ad hoc and new corporate communications duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Completion of HKCEE/ HKDSE (minimum five passes, including English, Chinese & Mathematics) equivalent or above

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience (University graduate with less experience will also be considered)

  • Excellent writing and communication skills in both Chinese and English

  • Previous experience in corporate communications or NGOs is a definite asset

  • Good team player with mature interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, and able to work with people from diverse backgrounds and under pressure

  • Proficient in PC skills, including MS Office

  • Experience in using marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, website CMS, and graphic applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, will be an added advantage

Contract Period: 1 year (renewable)
