  • Deliver student and parent workshops and train teachers to write strong reference letters.

  • Collaborate with academic and pastoral teams to ensure whole-child support.

  • Visit universities internationally and advocate for Bloom’s innovative curriculum and school profile.

  • Establish and nurture relationships with university admissions offices to advocate for students as needed.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Student-centered, empathetic, and intellectually curious.

  • A builder, excited to design a new programme in collaboration with leadership.

  • Flexible, adaptable, and energized by project-based learning and interdisciplinary thinking.

  • A strong communicator who can clearly explain complex systems to students, parents, and staff.

  • An advocate, confident in presenting Bloom’s mission, values, and transcript to admissions offices worldwide.

  • A collaborator, committed to working closely with academic and pastoral teams to support whole-child development.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional college counseling experience, with strong expertise in US admissions and familiarity with UK/UCAS and Commonwealth systems.

  • Relevant degree in counseling, education, psychology, or related field.

  • Membership in admissions/counseling associations (e.g., NACAC, IACAC, IECA, UCAS).

  • Experience working in international, innovative, or project-based learning environments preferred.

Saint Too Bloom Academy is a new secondary school in Hong Kong dedicated to innovation, entrepreneurship, and bilingual education. Designed by a team of passionate educators, engineers, and entrepreneurs, our mission is to prepare young people to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Since the establishment of our sister school, Bloom KKCA Academy, in 2021, we have pioneered bilingual, interdisciplinary, and project-based learning, forming partnerships across education, business, and social innovation sectors. In 2024, we expanded to our secondary campus, offering Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level programs alongside a school-based Key Stage 3 curriculum. We have since launched two additional pathways—the HKDSE and a US-accredited project-based pathway—to serve diverse learners.
