We are looking for a dynamic, Hong Kong-based professional to act as a vital link between our leadership team and our China operations to drive this expansion.
2. Position Summary
The China Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in executing the KIN Farms China market entry strategy. Based in Hong Kong, this individual will work directly with our China General Manager, our strategic partners, and our Hong Kong leadership to ensure the successful rollout of our brand and products in Mainland China.
This role requires a blend of strategic execution, partner management, and sales acumen. The manager will be responsible for driving the China go-to-market plan while also supporting general business development activities in our home market of Hong Kong.
3. Key Responsibilities
China Strategy Execution:
- Act as the key liaison between the Hong Kong management team and the China General Manager to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution.
- Manage and cultivate relationships with our key mainland partners, including those in supply chain, brand marketing, and liquid egg processing.
- Support the rollout of our go-to-market plan in Tier 1 cities, focusing on food service, high-end retail, and e-commerce channels (Tmall, JD.com).
- Collaborate with the China sales and marketing teams to execute campaigns, support KOL/KOC partnerships, and drive brand awareness.
- Assist in the planning and eventual launch of our innovative decentralized farming network.
Hong Kong Business Development:
- Support the Hong Kong leadership team in managing and growing relationships with existing key accounts across hospitality and premium retail.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities Domestically and Internationally for our expanding portfolio of products.
- Represent KIN Farms at local industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Cross-Border Coordination:
- Facilitate smooth communication and operational workflow between Hong Kong and Mainland China teams.
- Prepare reports and presentations on China market performance, challenges, and opportunities for the Hong Kong management team.
- Coordinate on cross-border logistics and supply chain matters to ensure product availability for both markets.
4. Qualifications & Experience
Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the food & beverage or FMCG industry.
China Market Expertise: Proven experience working with the Mainland China market is essential. A strong understanding of its business culture, consumer landscape, and distribution channels (both online and offline) is required.
Location: Must be based in Hong Kong.
Languages: Full professional fluency in Mandarin, and English is mandatory.

- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across different cultures.
- Self-motivated and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
