With a presence across major international financial centres and a growing portfolio of high-net-worth clients, intermediaries, and corporates, we deliver seamless, compliant, and commercially sound solutions that enable our clients to operate and grow globally.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to lead the commercial growth of Acclime’s Global Business across key markets.

This role will be pivotal in identifying new client opportunities, building and nurturing strategic relationships, and shaping our go-to-market strategy in collaboration with cross-border teams. The ideal candidate is also an excellent communicator and networker who can elevate our brand through events, partnerships, and thought leadership initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to grow Acclime’s offshore client base
  • Identify and pursue opportunities across company formation, trust/fund structuring, and outsourced administration
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with intermediaries including law firms, tax advisors, private banks, and family offices
  • Lead or support the planning and execution of networking events, seminars, and roundtables targeting key client and referral segments
  • Represent Acclime at industry events, forums, and conferences to raise brand awareness and build market presence
  • Collaborate with Group Marketing and Communications to develop and contribute to thought leadership content, including articles, webinars, and speaking engagements
  • Drive pipeline development, prepare tailored proposals, and close new business opportunities
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client satisfaction
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in business development within corporate services, offshore structuring, trust/fund administration, or related financial services
  • Proven ability to develop commercial strategies and win new business in a B2B environment
  • Strong existing network within the offshore services, private wealth, or professional advisory ecosystem
  • Experience in organising or leading business development events and representing a brand externally
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with a flair for building trust and credibility
  • Comfortable contributing to or authoring thought leadership pieces on offshore, governance, or cross-border topics
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Cantonese) are advantageous
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and able to work independently across different cultures and markets
