Assistant Professor / Associate Professor

Department of Computer Science

 

Responsibilities 

  • Deliver engaging instruction at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
  • Participate in the review and development of courses, programs, and curricula;
  • Conduct research that contributes to publications in prestigious, peer-reviewed journals;
  • Engage in advanced consultancy and other scholarly activities;
  • Fulfill academic and administrative responsibilities as required;
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Department or their delegate.

 
Requirements

  • A PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred areas include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data Analysis, Data Mining, Data Warehousing, Natural Language Processing, Biomedical Signal Processing, Networking and Cloud Computing, Web Technology, and Network Security);
  • Proven experience in university-level teaching and relevant research;
  • A passionate and approachable educator with a strong publication record demonstrating research capabilities;
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills;
  • Established connections in both academia and industry at regional and international levels;
  • Proficiency in English and Putonghua.
