Job Description
Responsibilities:
- To engage in all aspects of film festival operations and film screening activities of the Society;
- To manage members’ registration and database, including overseeing the arrangement and delivery of member benefits;
- To provide customer service and handling members’ inquiries and requests;
- To plan and organize members’ activities e.g. special preview, reception, special film talk and discussion;
- To Liaise with website & mobile app vendors, as well as internal departments, to ensure smooth operations of the websites, mobile app and online streaming platform;
- To manage and provide support for society’s websites, mobile app and online streaming platform; to collaborate with internal departments in developing membership recruitment and retention strategies;
- To prepare and proofread data for the websites, programme & booking folders and other publicities for the society activities;
- To monitor the delivery of programme and booking folders, as well as other publicity for the society's activities;
- To assume duties at HKIFF Temporary Office during the annual film festival period;
- To coordinate meeting schedule, prepare agenda and minutes of the meeting; and
- To perform any other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or management from time to time.
Requirements:
- University graduate or equivalent;
- Good communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin will be an advantage;
- Ability to work independently, proactively and as a good team player;
- Minimum 1 - 2 year of working experience;
- Proficient in PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & Adobe Suite software;
- Understanding web and mobile app trends and experience in managing CMS will be an advantage;
- Passion for film will be an advantage; and
- Require to work overtime and at irregular hours including full-day work on weekends and public holidays during certain peak periods.
