Assistant Merchandising Manager / Senior Merchandiser (Hardgoods)

Job Description

We are a global sourcing company and looking for an Assistant Merchandising Manager / Senior Merchandiser for US team, looking after Home Decor and Houseware products. This role will be reporting to the Senior Merchandise Manager. 

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Senior Merchandise Manager of the whole supply chain from factory sourcing, development till shipment. Proactive on problem precaution and solving.
• Well organization skills, attentive to details and problem-solving mindset is prerequisite.
• Able to work independently with factories and foreign customers.
• Monitor suppliers’ performance to ensure product development and production on right track.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams.
• Good negotiation skills to drive cost saving and costing margin for clients’ continue business growth.
• Develop a close relationship with existing suppliers and develop new suppliers through personal connections, trade fairs and sourcing trips.
• Product, payment and business term negotiations with suppliers.
• Experienced in work with foreign design team will be an advantage.
• Willing to travel.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Tertiary educated
• Self-motivated and have strong sense of responsibility.
• Independent and excellent time management in meeting deadline.
• Good communication skills and fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Good computer skills in MS Office including Excel, Power Point and MS TEAM.
• Experience in handling relevant categories.
• Experience working in US market is a Must.
