Assistant Merchandiser – Woven

Kasper Global Limited (Hong Kong) sources quality products from Asia for The Kasper Group, a leading designer, marketer and wholesaler of branded apparel in the United States.

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to join our growing team:

Job Description:

• Create & update cost summary chart (including pull ref style/cost from history)
• Send inquiries to factories and follow through to ensure complete price, TNA and details received
• Enter allocation in PLM once order confirmed
• Review and analyze test report from factories
• Request stitch count / gauge info from factories
• Send initial request for fabric info and follow up w/fabric team
• Follow up on initial cost from factory once protocol samples are ready
• Communicate and work w/factory for any unclear questions and points
• Verify final fabric price with fabric team and inform factory and prepare update summary chart if needed
• Work closely with NY team and provide necessary support

Requirements:

• Form 5 or above, diploma in Textiles or related discipline is an advantage
• 2 years of experience in merchandising with US market
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Proficient in MS office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good team player, detail-minded and excellent communication skills
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Merchandiser
