About the Role:
Are you passionate about optimizing supply chains and driving operational excellence? Join us as a pivotal member of our logistics team! You'll support our strategic and operational functions, ensuring seamless logistics execution, elevating service standards, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives.
By collaborating closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners, you will play a key role in enhancing supply chain efficiency, maintaining top-tier service levels, and contributing to the overall success of Yusen Logistics.
Job Descriptions:
- Understand the customer’s supply chain requirements and collaborate with the Account Manager to develop a strategic roadmap that aligns with both customer goals and company capabilities.
- Identify customer pain points and supply chain challenges, and proactively propose initiatives that drive process optimization, generate additional revenue, and/or deliver cost savings to customers and Yusen.
- Conduct regular business review meetings with customers and/or their service providers to evaluate performance, address concerns, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oversee service performance across the Yusen network as in Global Control Tower, ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and service level agreements.
- Partner with the IT department to support the enhancement of logistics systems and facilitate the implementation of optimization functionalities that improve operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Ocean freight forwarding or supply chain operations
- Intermediate level or above in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
