ASSISTANT MANAGER, TECHNICAL PROCUREMENT

The candidate is expected to own the individual supplier management and procure the services and products required as part of the airlines operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end to end sourcing processes, from market research, RFI/RFP preparation, negotiation, evaluation to contract awards and ensure compliance to internal process
• Support contract preparation and review processes, legal and commercial due diligence
• Working with business units on supplier performance measurements for managing on-going supplier relationship, especially for strategic vendors
• Continually seeking improvements from the supply market
• Perform any other duties as assigned
• Business travel is required occasionally

Requirements:

• Holder of Degree with preferably in aviation, procurement, business or related field would be an advantage
• CIPS qualification or studying towards CIPS membership would be an advantage but not a must
• Minimum 5 years’ in a similar role
• Sound knowledge of supplier and contract management
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical and operations departments
• Good supplier management, negotiation, influencing and commercial skills
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Able to work independently and under pressure for tight schedule
• Candidate with less experience would be considered as Technical Procurement Executive
