Job Description
The Assistant Manager will support the Business Development team in cultivating strategic partnerships, managing external relationships, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives that contribute to the unit’s growth and long-term success. This role requires a proactive communicator with strong organizational skills and a keen understanding of market dynamics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner Engagement & Relationship Management
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new business partners
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing partners to ensure long-term collaboration
- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication
Strategic & Operational Support
- Contribute to the development and execution of partnership strategies
- Support joint initiatives, co-branded campaigns, and collaborative projects
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports for internal and external use
- Track partnership performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management
Market Research & Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance partnership strategies
Presales & Go-to-Market Strategy
- Support client recruitment and engagement through partner channels, leveraging market insights and relationships to drive lead generation
- Build strong knowledge of partner products to effectively communicate value and tailor solutions to client needs
- Assist in planning and executing go-to-market strategies with partners, including campaign coordination and sales enablement
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or client-facing roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse stakeholders
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua
