Assistant Lecturer (Sports)

Duties:

• Deliver quality teaching and student supervision of sports-related subjects, ensuring alignment with Module Intended Learning Outcomes (MILOs)
• Design and edit teaching materials in accordance with academic and institutional standards
• Take charge of academic and students activities related to the discipline and coordinate with the stakeholders where necessary
• Contribute to institutional and community engagement initiatives, including outreach and collaboration with external partners
• Perform ad-hoc duties as instructed by supervisors

Requirements:

• Holder of a Master Degree in sports-related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience at the tertiary level
• Proficiency in coaching land-based sports; relevant coaching certifications are preferred
• Appointees should also possess good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
