Our client, a real estate company is looking for a strategic and results-driven Assistant General Manager to manage their commercial portfolio in Hong Kong. This role is pivotal in maximizing asset value, optimizing operational performance, and driving long-term returns across our office and retail assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy & Performance
Develop and execute asset management strategies to enhance the financial and operational performance of the commercial portfolio.Tenant Relations & Leasing Oversight
Oversee leasing activities, tenant engagement, and retention strategies to maintain high occupancy and rental yields.Financial Management
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the portfolio. Monitor P&L performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.Capital Planning & Enhancements
Drive capital improvement initiatives, refurbishment projects, and sustainability upgrades to maintain asset competitiveness.Market Intelligence & Risk Management
Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and mitigate risks.Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., leasing, property management, finance) and external partners (e.g., consultants, contractors) to ensure seamless execution of asset plans.Reporting & Governance
Provide regular updates to senior management and board-level stakeholders on portfolio performance, strategic initiatives, and investment outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in asset management, with a strong track record in commercial real estate.
- Proven leadership in managing large-scale portfolios and cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with experience in investment analysis and performance reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
