Assistant Finance Manager/Senior Analyst (FP&A Focused)

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this interesting opportunity will have broad geographic coverage (Greater China and Southeast Asia) of our omnichannel businesses, and will be responsible for:

• Conduct short-term and long-term financial plans (P&L and cashflow projections) including annual budget/periodic forecasts by working closely with Business Heads across Asia Pacific markets and different functions (e.g. sales, marketing, IT)

• Prepare monthly and adhoc management reports on timely basis

• Drive monthly financial reviews to analyze profit drivers (e.g. sales, gross margin, opex) by location/channel, and act as partner with Business Heads to identify opportunities for enhancing financial performance

• Develop new reports to deliver business insights

• Contribute in business plan formulation by developing financial models to evaluate business scenarios

• Collaborate closely with Accounting Team to ensure management reporting aligns with group requirements; drive to improve process workflows when appropriate

• Streamline FP&A workflow when needed

• Tackle adhoc projects assigned by management

Requirements:

Education level

• Degree holder in finance/accounting, holding HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualifications

Experience and Skills Required

• At least 5 years of FP&A work experience in retail/FMCG/F&B industries

• Advanced Excel skills is a must

• Inquisitive, and willing to be hands-on

• Experience in different APAC markets is preferred while not a must

• Solid knowledge/experience of accounting operations in related industries will be valued

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Work well in less structured environments

• Fluent in both English and Mandarin; solid capability in communicating across different locations and with different functional groups

• Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior Financial Analyst role
