Job Summary:

As the Tech Lead, you will be the technical driving force behind an innovative project focused on applying AI to enhance athletic performance and prevent injuries. You'll lead the architecture, development, and deployment of a real-time, multi-layered system that integrates data ingestion, ML models, APIs, and dashboards. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, sports scientists, and software engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Technical Leadership: Own the technical execution across all phases—from environment setup to MVP deployment.

·         Architecture & Infrastructure: Design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, tailored to project needs.

·         CI/CD & DevOps: Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and automated testing frameworks to support agile development.

·         Security & Compliance: Define and enforce security protocols, data encryption, and access controls in collaboration with legal.

·         API & Data Layer: Lead the development of secure APIs, message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), and optimized relational database schemas for high-performance data access.

·         ML Integration: Support ML workflows including model training, testing, and deployment, with emphasis on real-time inference and explainability.

·         UI & Reporting: Oversee integration of Tableau dashboards and ensure seamless real-time data delivery to end users for actionable insights.

·         Testing & Optimization: Champion performance tuning, penetration testing, and comprehensive system validation using System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure reliability and scalability.

·         Deployment & Support: Manage cloud-based deployment processes and coordinate end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption.

·         Project Management: Effectively manage project timelines, resources, and risks using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Trello.

·         Stakeholder Communication: Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and expectations, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

·         Team Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

·         Minimum 4 years of experience in full-stack development.

·         Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior System Analyst in Agile environments.

·         Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

·         Expertise in API development, CI/CD, DevOps, and security best practices.

·         Experience with message queues, real-time systems, and data pipelines.

·         Familiarity with ML model deployment and data validation workflows.

·         Excellent communication and leadership skills.

·         Bonus: Experience in sports tech, health analytics, or real-time data systems.
