AI Engineer

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate individual excited about AI and cybersecurity to join our team. You’ll be working in our test lab, experimenting with local open-source LLMs like LLaMA, Qwen, and Gemma, and exploring how they can solve real cybersecurity problems.

If you’ve played with local LLMs, enjoy building in Python, and want to push AI in new directions—this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Work hands-on with local LLMs to explore cybersecurity use cases

• Build Python scripts and tools that bring AI into real-world security scenarios

• Fine-tune prompts to get more accurate and useful model outputs

• Create quick prototypes, APIs, or dashboards to showcase ideas

• Stay up to date with open-source LLM tools, techs and innovations

• Collaborate closely with our in-house cybersecurity experts - you’ll be supported by a team that knows the domain inside out, so you won’t be working in isolation

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in Python skills - you’ve built scripts or tools before

• Comfortable working in Linux environments

• Experience running local LLMs (e.g., with Llama.cpp, Ollama, etc.)

• Some exposure to writing prompts or tuning LLM behavior

• Bonus if you’ve built something using local LLMs

• Interest in cybersecurity and how AI can support it

• Curious, self-driven, and eager to explore new ideas
