Role Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract basis to cover maternity leave.
This role will support key logistics functions including FCL operations, tender analysis, shipment reliability, and freight management.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Tender & Analysis Support:

  • Assist in compiling statistical reports and KPIs for logistics performance tracking.
  • Support the preparation and coordination of RFQs and tender documentation.
  • Generate analytical reports and scenario-based evaluations for management decision-making.
  • Coordinate internal meetings and liaise with carriers to ensure alignment on tender-related matters.
  • Maintain carrier allocation files and monthly rolling forecasts for shipping lines.

Shipment Reliability & KPI Monitoring:

  • Monitor and analyze shipment reliability metrics (ATD, ATA) and lead-times across logistics providers (carriers, forwarders, inland providers…).

  • Support process reviews and identify areas for improvement in shipment reliability and lead-time accuracy.
  • Prepare quarterly performance reviews and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in optimizing routing and trade terms to improve time-to-market.
  • Track and control shipment events using the in-house logistics system and ensure data accuracy.

Freight Management:

  • Request and compare freight quotations and challenging Carriers to identify cost-effective and timely shipping solutions.
  • Analyze routing options to recommend the most competitive and efficient logistics paths.
  • Collaborate with Controlling and Accounting teams to ensure accurate freight cost reporting.

Operational Coordination

  • Handle day-to-day logistics operations including dispute resolution and claims with carriers.
  • Provide internal advisory support on FCL shipments to merchandisers, sourcing teams, and customers.

Experience, knowledge and skills required:

  • Degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a MNC Trading company, and/or 3PL / Carriers
  • Sound knowledge and experience in handling international shipping documents & invoice
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese is an advantage
