Buyer (Womenswear)

With the HBX e-commerce platform shipping to over 80 markets worldwide, it has 2 retail stores in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a lead for womenswear, manage the respective portfolio, inclusive of ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories, to achieve targeted sales projections and sell-through targets.
• Monitor seasonal performance and inventory levels, and execute in-season and off-season action plans to improve revenue and profitability.
• Work closely with the planning team on the seasonal OTB to meet corporate objectives.
• Develop strong relationships with vendors to secure exclusive projects and trading terms.
• Maintain strong understanding of latest fashion trends, based on market research and social trends.
• Establish pricing strategies based on performance analytics, competitor landscape and margins.
• Act as a key stakeholder between operations, marketing and retail teams to align strategic vision and business focuses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Business, or related disciplines is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in fashion buying – experience in a multi-brand retailer and in womenswear is a plus.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Creative mindset to think outside the box.
• Strong fashion sense and personal style.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Occasional to travel overseas for business needs.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must.
