E-commerce Specialist / Procurement

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized E-Commerce Operator / Procurement Officer to join our Hong Kong team. This role bridges our online retail operations and product sourcing activities, ensuring our customers receive the right products at the right time. You will manage product listings, coordinate procurement with Japanese suppliers, monitor inventory, and support promotional campaigns for our e-commerce platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage and update product listings on Shopify and other e-commerce platforms, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and images.
• Coordinate procurement with Japanese suppliers and handle purchase orders, shipment schedules, and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Support promotional campaigns by preparing product data, coordinating with the marketing team, and ensuring timely launch of offers.
• Liaise with the logistics team for incoming shipments and with customer service to resolve product or order-related issues.
• Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities and competitive pricing strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of e-commerce operations or procurement experience, preferably in FMCG, food & beverage, or cosmetics.
• Familiarity with Shopify or other major e-commerce platforms.
• Strong coordination skills with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams.
• Good command of English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin a plus. Japanese language skills advantageous but not essential.
• Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solver with an interest in Japanese products and online retail trends.
