Job Responsibilities:
-
Responding to visa and immigration enquiries;
-
Preparing for and managing full circle of inbound and outbound visa applications;
-
Drafting and filing of HK employment visa applications;
-
Drafting and filing of Canadian temporary and permanent residency applications;
-
Coordinating filing of immigrant and non-immigrant visa applications to multiple jurisdictions;
-
Liaising with clients to coordinate the collection of supporting documents and preparation of visa application forms, to follow up progress with local and overseas immigration authorities and to provide clients with regular updates on application status;
-
Liaising and cooperating closely with external vendors, including consultants, lawyers, and other immigration professionals;
-
Regularly review cases and pipelines for corporate clients;
-
Maintaining a working knowledge of the immigration regulations and practices;
-
Maintenance of client files in accordance with agreed practice protocols;
-
Developing and maintaining positive client relationships and all stakeholders;
-
Adhere to external and internal ethical and practice management standards;
-
Understanding the group’s broad service offerings and identification of business opportunities on engagements;
-
Researching information from different sources, including but not limited to government websites, online literature, and legal sources;
-
Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
-
Passionate about visas and immigration
-
Friendly, positive and can-do attitude
-
A good degree holder with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in the area of global mobility and/or immigration
-
Priority will be given to candidates with hands-on experience with Hong Kong, Canada and U.S. visas and immigration
-
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
-
Content researching and drafting skills a definite plus
-
Ability and common sense to provide accurate immigration advice
-
Take initiatives to identify priorities and seek guidance when needed
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure
-
Ability to work independently and a good team player
-
Attention to detail and accuracy
-
Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
