Fashion Designer / Assistant Fashion Designer

Responsibilities:
· Responsible for full range of product design including concepts, trend research,
product development, collection design, 2D & 3D garment sampling , and
prints design design;
· Work with customers’ design teams and internal merchandising teams to understand style and collection requirements (e.g. tech pack, mood boards) and translate such requirements into manufacturable designs;
· Deliver design presentations to customers’ design teams;
· Actively track and follow up on samples & new design projects from ideation to pre-production;
· Research and analyse market trends and commercial needs;
· Conduct ongoing research and continuously keep abreast of latest 3D design tools and techniques;
· Perform any duties and support other ad-hoc projects as per assigned by the superior.

Requirements:
· Graduate of accredited institution in Digital Fashion or Fashion Design;
· With minimum 3 years of relevant experience;
· Fresh graduate & less experience are welcome and will be considered for the Assistant Fashion Designer position;
· Swimwear or sportswear design experience is highly preferred;
· Knowledge in raw material sourcing, styling, prints design, and graphic development in both 2D and 3D;
· Good command of Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D virtual apparel software (e.g. CLO, Browzwear, Optitex);
· Self-motivated & able to meet tight deadlines;
· Creative and able to work independently with strong fashion sense;
· Presentable, energetic, and willing to learn;
· Good command of both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin;
· Station in HK; occasionally travel to China factory for sample development and overseas for customer design presentations & market research.
