About the role
Kuly Construction & Engineering Company Limited is seeking a talented SubAgent / Site Engineer to join our team in San Tin Yuen Long District. This is a full-time position that will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. As a SubAgent / Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site operations and ensuring the seamless execution of our projects.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating and supervising the work of subcontractors and construction crews to ensure adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards
- Monitoring site activities, identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise
- Preparing and maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation related to project progress and performance
- Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and best practices
- Participating in the planning and implementation of temporary works and site logistics
- Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team as needed
What we're looking for
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a SubAgent or Site Engineer in the construction industry
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
- Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols
- Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and standards related to construction projects
