The Opportunity

The Assistant Secretary / Secretary position at Arup in Hong Kong Office.

The role involves a broad range of secretarial and administrative duties to facilitate the team's operations.

  • Responsible for full spectrum of secretarial / administrative support to the team include all aspects of administrative work, day to day document handling, bid preparation and invoice preparation.
  • Provide secretarial support to the team leaders, team members and cover the other team secretary when required.
  • Organize and participate in meetings/talks and assist in post-meeting follow up.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Is this role right for you?

  • Diploma, Higher Diploma, Associate Degree, or Degree with secretarial qualifications preferred
  • At least 3.5 years of secretarial/administrative experience, ideally with project and office administration in a related industry
  • Proactive, mature, detail-oriented, and equipped with strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing
  • Strong command of English and Chinese, including spoken Putonghua
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
