Curriculum Coordinator (Secondary School)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support secondary school faculty in curriculum alignment with biblical worldview, and instructional planning according to principles of Understanding by Design
• Collaborate on textbook and resource alignment
• Ensure curriculum meets college admissions and career objectives.
• Provide one-on-one and group coaching; assist with new faculty orientation
• Manage AP exam administration and compliance with College Board requirements
• Oversee schoolwide professional development initiatives; provide training on learning management systems and digital tools.
• Assist faculty in communicating standards-based frameworks.
• Update course booklets and manuals; maintain engagement with academic leadership; Collaborate on student learning programs; provide classroom support as needed.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH

• Strong passion and commitment to Christian education, and the ability to integrate biblical principles in their teaching.
• A master’s degree in Education or Curriculum & Instruction awarded by an accredited university.  Supervised teaching practice of Physical Education (K-12) must be a required component of the teacher training programme (e.g. BEd., PGCE or PGDE).
• A minimum 5 years’ classroom teaching to secondary school students. Familiarity with international school curriculum and pedagogy is preferred.
• A Cognitive Coaching certification (or willingness to train)
• Experience with standards-based curriculum and assessment is highly preferred
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in problem-solving and strategic thinking
• A team player with a positive attitude and growth mindset, and the ability to interact positively with faculty, students and parents in all aspects of school life.
