Part-Time Translator / Intern Translator

Qualifications & experience

• Welcome undergraduate students with a translation background.
• Strong command of written English and Chinese.
• Flexibility to work overtime to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in PC operation and Chinese word processing.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Capable of working under pressure and within strict timeframes.
• Availability for a minimum of 8 hours per week between 09:00 and 23:00.
• Relevant experience in translating financial documents from English to Chinese and vice versa is a plus (internship experience is acceptable).

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assist in translating, updating, reviewing, and proofreading financial documents such as IPO prospectuses, shareholders’ circulars, annual and interim reports, and press announcements.
• Help translate legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
• Support the translation of various commercial documents as assigned by the company.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific translation needs, preferences, and deadlines.

• Perform additional duties as delegated by the company.
