Associate Business Development Director

As an Associate Account Director (Business Development) at Kantar Insights, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's growth and success.

This role involves a focus on new business development and research.​

Business Development

• Secure new client logos by selling Kantar Insights' offerings within designated industries in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay area.
• Identify prospect lists and build customized approaches to engage potential clients proactively.
• Conduct relevant conversations with prospects, focusing on identifying business opportunities and risks from the clients' perspective.
• Work with marketing and other departments to prepare pre-sales materials.
• Provide professional advice to prospects in need of data collection or related market research services.
• Negotiate project and contract terms and successfully close deals.
• Serve as a "Brand Partner" to clients throughout the sales cycle, delivering flawless customer service.

Research Responsibilities

• Translate insights into engaging stories with clear and concise implications that will help clients make better marketing decisions
• Lead and collaborate with the research team to understand the latest market trends and insights.
• Use research data to strengthen sales pitches and assist in client consultations.
• Ensure that client needs are met through accurate and comprehensive research findings.
• Stay informed about industry developments to identify potential research opportunities that align with client objectives.

Job Requirements

• Proven B2B business development experience, ideally in market research, with a proven track record of successes.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively sell, negotiate, convert, and close large business deals.
• Outstanding persuasive selling skills in meetings, pitching, and proposal writing.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (Cantonese proficiency would be a plus).
