Freelance Online English Instructor/Tutor

Responsibilities: 

• Deliver engaging, interactive and effective 1-1 English tutoring sessions to primary and secondary students using MeeOpp’s online teaching platform, tools and materials 
• Deliver student-oriented learning session based on our curriculum, teaching materials and students' learning outcomes
• Provide constructive feedback and support based on students’ completed work to help students improve their English skills
• Prepare for 1-1 sessions by reading and analysing notes and guidelines from MeeOpp
• Create a comfortable and open environment for students to ask questions and express their ideas

Requirements: 

• Fully fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, education, humanities or a related humanities field (preferred)
• Studied a well-established local secondary curriculum as known as HKDSE or secondary international curriculum such as IB, AP, IGCSE, A-Levels, etc.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of how online teaching platforms and digital learning tools work 
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional teaching environment
• Experience in teaching English, preferably in a one-on-one/small group setting (preferred)
• Patient, friendly and resourceful
• TEFL, TESOL, TESL, CELTA, DELTA certification (preferred)
• Passionate about technology and education is a plus!
