Technician (Vehicle)

Carries out planned maintenance and emergency repairs on vehicles and machines;

Requirements:

 Either

(a) Holder of an ordinary certificate in mechanical or vehicle engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic/Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/technical institute/technical college, or equivalent; and at least two (2) years’ post-qualification experience in the mechanical or vehicle engineering field;

 Or

(b) Successful completion of a full craft or technician apprenticeship in the mechanical or vehicle engineering field; and at least three (3) years’ post-training working experience in the mechanical or vehicle engineering field;

 Or

(c) At least six (6) years’ working experience in the mechanical or vehicle engineering field.
