Technical Business Analyst | MNC Data Platform | 40k+

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in Financial Services & Insurance to join a enterprise-grade data platform project. As part of the role, you will get the opportunity to bridge the gap between business needs and technical teams, as well as playing a key part in data mapping, gap analysis, and technical documentation.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate with business teams and engineers to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional & technical specifications for development teams and data teams.
• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement.
• Support UAT by defining test cases, coordinating testing efforts, and validating results.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries, process flows, and requirement traceability matrices.
• Map data between source and target systems to ensure seamless integration with reporting and analytics tools.

• Facilitate meetings, demos, and walkthroughs to ensure stakeholder alignment.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a background in FSI industry highly desired.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data mapping, validation, and analysis. Hands-on experience with SQL will be very beneficial.
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms, or data models is highly desired.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with proven experience liaising with data engineers and DBAs.
• Experience with Agile project delivery is highly desired.
