(Senior) Accounting Officer - Accounts Receivable

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Accounting Officer to support our expanding business. You will take ownership of accounts receivable operations, monitor aging balances, and contribute to financial reporting. This role offers hands-on experience with accounting systems and the opportunity to grow with a leading IT Managed Service Company providing Cloud and AI technology that values innovation, efficiency, and professional development.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment follow-up, and reconciliation

• Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances

• Prepare and review provision for bad debts in accordance with company policy and accounting standards

• Coordinate with internal departments and external clients to resolve billing discrepancies

• Prepare AR reports and assist in month-end closing

• Support audit and compliance requirements related to AR

• Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance AR efficiency and accuracy

We are looking for:

• Higher Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in AR; candidates with more experience may be considered for the Senior Officer level

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and standards

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel) and accounting systems, experience in using Xero is a plus

• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua
