Product Development Merchandiser (Apparel)

Our client is cordially inviting potential candidates who are interested in apparel industry for the following post:

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customer designers/developers and internal teams in making & refining product samples.
• Follow sample development processes to troubleshoot & to shorten development timelines.
• Participate in pre-production meetings to validate technical specifications, fabric, materials, colors & other requirements.
• Manage lab-dips, testing, coloring especially new tech fabric & materials.
• Conduct costing calculation if necessary.
• Handle ad hoc requests, coordinate workmates  to react promptly.

Requirements:

• Diploma holder in textile & clothing, fashion study or equivalent.
• 5 years+ experiences in outer wears/woven jackets for US & EU markets.
• Knowledgeable of drawing software or systems.
• Good MS office skills and Chinese word processing.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Good presentation & communication skills, well-organized, detail-oriented.
• Willing to have overseas travelling when required.
