Key Responsibilities

Mold Design and Development:

• Conduct mold design based on product drawings and process requirements, ensuring the rationality and reliability of mold structures.
• Select appropriate materials, processing techniques, and assembly methods to enhance mold lifespan and precision.
• Participate in mold design reviews and propose optimization suggestions.

Mold Production and Maintenance:

• Oversee the processing, assembly, debugging, and trial runs of molds.
• Collaborate closely with processing and assembly departments to resolve issues encountered during mold production.
• Conduct performance testing on molds to ensure they meet production requirements.
• Implement regular maintenance and upkeep of molds to ensure their normal operation.

Technical Support and Upgrading:

• Provide technical support to the production department, resolving technical challenges encountered during production.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements, applying new materials, processes, and technologies to improve mold design, manufacturing, and maintenance.
• Participate in technical training to enhance personal technical skills and overall team competence.

Branding Assistance:

Contribute to the development of brand stories and marketing materials that highlight the company's technical capabilities and innovations in mold engineering.

Project Management and Communication:

• Manage mold project timelines and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Maintain good communication with project team members and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and update technical documents related to molds, including design drawings, process files, and maintenance records.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 Years’ experience in precision injection molding, experience in trendy toys and plastic model kits is preferred
• Familiar with enginerring software , experience with processing 3D files, 3D graphics processing
• Able to solve technical problems scientifically and independently
• Station in Zhongshan, Guangdong (Monday to Friday)
• Immediately available is highly preferred
• Good command of written and spoken Japanese is a plus (not a must)
