Production Planning Manager (6 months contract)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the production planning team to execute the production planning function to ensure smooth operation and effectiveness of production
• Analyse and identify risks associated with the options built into the Master Production Plan, including manufacturing lead times to support on time ship
• Proactively identify potential production problems, develop solutions, and implement them to resolve or prevent a problem using analysis
• Consolidate data from different systems to conduct data processing review, analysis and reporting to management using advance metrics in Excel, Access, etc.
• Provide Allocation Report consistent with the company capacity and sales forecast

• Coordinate with Merchandising Department to ensure specific customer requirements are accurately captured on Purchase Orders and communicated and executed by the factories

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, supply chain or equivalent
• 5 years relevant working experiences, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain operations, understanding of workflows and process optimization, familiarity with ERP systems and system enhancement projects is highly desirable
• Strong technical background, with the ability to work across systems and support digital transformation initiatives, i.e. SAP integration tool PI/PO, CPI
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and Power BI
• Mature, self-motivated, detail-minded, responsible
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin

• Travelling is required
