Key Responsibilities:-
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with business objectives and sales forecasts.
- Source and negotiate with inventory and individual vendors to obtain competitive pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and issue resolution.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality of products by coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Implement and maintain systems for tracking aging inventory across all warehouses. Manage existing and aging inventory, including selling and repurchasing items as needed to optimize inventory levels.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Educational Requirements
- BBA / BA / BS -- Preferably in Marketing, Business or relevant fields will be a strong advantage.
Experience and skills
- 3-5 years of procurement and inventory management experience with E-comm & Retail relevance
- Ability to multi-task/manage multiple programs and inquiries at any given time
- Strong communication & negotiation skills
- Attention to Detail & Numbers is essential.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in managing procurement, forecasting, and running sales analysis. Capable of analyzing sales data and marketing conditions
- Strong PC skills -Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to understand and operate ERP and related systems.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
