Assistant Financial Systems Officer (Fresh grad welcome)

Job purpose:

Provide financial information systems support service to Finance (“FIN”) department staff and other related parties to facilitate daily operation.  Assist to provide data from available databases for producing management reports and analysis.  Conduct system enhancement and process improvement scheme to increase productivity.  Comply with company requirements, data and IT security policies to ensure governance.

Job responsibilities:

• To maintain financial information systems, e.g. reference data maintenances, user maintenances and permission maintenance
• To arrange data interfacing among financial information systems as well as internal database server
• To regularly generate the maintenance reports to users for review
• To manage IT related budgets within FIN department
• To handle system inquiries from internal staff and/or external parties
• To maintain system documentation to tide with system and business process flows
• To design and implement internal reports/macros/program scripts to fulfil user requirements
• To assist internal users on financial system enhancement projects, e.g., gathering user requirements, coordinating with IT department/developer and facilitating user acceptance tests
• To consult on the business initiatives/ad-hoc assignments in order to ensure smooth operation
• To work out and implement process improvement schemes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration in Information Management or related disciplines with knowledge in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, with knowledge on container terminal / shipping / logistics industry is advantageous
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge on Crystal Report, SQL server and MS Access is advantageous
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
• Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills, able to work under pressure
• Immediate available is preferred
• Fresh graduates are welcome and will be considered for Assistant Financial Systems Officer
