Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented Junior Programmer to join our investment team and develop innovative programming solutions for investment strategies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to combine programming skills with financial markets knowledge in a dynamic family office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Strategy Development:

• Develop, implement, and maintain programming solutions for quantitative investment strategies
• Create automated trading algorithms and backtesting frameworks
• Build data analysis tools and financial modeling applications
• Design and implement portfolio optimization and risk management systems

Technical Development:

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for investment applications
• Develop APIs and integrations with market data providers and trading platforms
• Create dashboards and visualization tools for investment performance monitoring
• Maintain and enhance existing investment technology infrastructure

Data Management:

• Design and implement data collection, cleaning, and storage solutions
• Work with large financial datasets and real-time market data feeds
• Develop data validation and quality assurance processes
• Create automated reporting systems for investment analysis

Collaboration and Support:

• Work closely with investment professionals to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide technical support and training to investment team members
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices development
• Stay updated with latest technologies and financial market developments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of programming experience (fresh graduates with strong technical skills will be considered)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, Java, or C#
• Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data analysis libraries
• Understanding of financial markets, investment concepts, and quantitative analysis preferred
• Experience with API development and financial data providers is a plus

Technical Skills:

• Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with data analysis libraries (pandas, numpy, scipy, etc.)
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment tools
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
