Assistant Merchandiser, Apparel

GA Operations HK Limited is a wholly owned sourcing operation for The Armani Group which designs, manufactures, distributes a wide range of fashion and lifestyle products including apparels, footwears and accessories, covering a range of brand names: Emporio Armani, AXIArmani Exchange, Emporio Armani Junior, EA7, etc.

We are looking for high calibre candidate(s) with great passion in fashion to join our Sourcing office in Kowloon Bay.

This position will be responsible for providing quality merchandising support for cut & sewn items from sourcing to product finalization for assigned projects & collection.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with suppliers to ensure the new products are developed according to the product specification and timeline
• Manage samples, artworks, material, strike offs and lab-dips
• To ensure proper fitting and silhouette of the garments
• Inspect samples and make sure they are correct before delivery
• Provide support to the team including PLM system and handle ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Fashion or Textiles related disciplines
• 1 to 2 years merchandising experience in garments industry
• Possess fashion sense and fabric technical knowledge
• Previous experience in managing cut & sewn products is preferred
• A good team player with good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel & Word)
• Good command in written & spoken English, Mandarin & Cantonese
