Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain an extensive film library, including the organization of film materials and the upkeep of a comprehensive database. Provide media operation and technical support as needed.
• Coordinate and oversee film restoration projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective and high-quality execution.
• Prepare accurate product specifications and monitor product quality to meet established standards.
• Serve as a point of contact for vendors and clients, facilitating communication and addressing material format requirements.
• Manage basic video and audio editing tasks, including conversion and coordination of materials production.
• Coordinate dubbing requests and oversee the prompt delivery of materials.
• Conduct quality control checks on video and audio materials to ensure adherence to defined standards.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of the department.

Desired Qualifications:
• Tertiary education, preferably in TV or communications.
• Over 3 years of experience in film or TV distribution.
• Proficiency in editing and design software, including Final Cut Pro, QuickTime Pro, Compressor, and Photoshop.
• Thorough knowledge of working with Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with a preference for strong skills in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong understanding of audio/video file formats, film formats, television standards, codecs, bitrates, frame rates, video resolutions, aspect ratios, and electronic delivery technologies.
• Familiarity with common file interchange video codecs such as Apple ProRes, XDCAM HD, IMX, and H.264.
• Understanding of digital video scaling, frame rate, format conversions, and different material formats.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Experience in technical coordination and working in film industry/production houses will be an advantage.
• Immediate availability is highly preferable.
