Objectives of the position:

• Independent sourcing in Asia and full range of merchandising duties including own responsible categories and projects
• Protect and uphold EVEREST AsiaHub and partners quality as well as EVEREST AsiaHub and partners standards in the whole value chain without compromise
• Implementation of procedures and workflow
• Ensure partnership relation to EVEREST partners and suppliers
• Perform duties professionally and ethnically by complying EVEREST AsiaHub’s Code of Conduct and EVEREST AsiaHub’s relevant company’s policies

Job Responsibilities:

• Research and identify food products that align with client specifications and market trends.
• Source and negotiate competitive pricing and delivery terms with Domestic & international food suppliers
• Understanding detailed product specifications, including packaging, labeling, and quality control standards.
• Manage sample development and approval processes
• Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, quality control) to ensure smooth product sourcing and delivery.
• Analyze market data and identify cost-saving opportunities throughout the sourcing process.
• Maintain accurate product information, including costs, specifications, and supplier details.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders and related documentation.
• Stay current on international food safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Travelling - Which includes Factory + Farm (Domestic & International), food trade shows as needed
• Handling Day-To-Day work related to Sampling/Production

• Support general clerical duties         
   

Job requirements:

• Diploma or above. Relevant experience in food products is preferrable.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a Sourcing/Buying/Trading company. (Candidate from a Manufacturing end, handling international clients can also apply)
• Conversant with MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet
• Fluent in spoken & written English, Putonghua and Cantonese
• Self-motivated, ability to work in a team and attention to details
• Hardworking, good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
