Resident Architect (RA)

Job Duties:

The Resident Architect shall assist the Project Team and the duties shall include but not limited to the following:-

• Assist the Project Team in matters relating to Government procedures, standards and the handling of statutory matters

• Liaise and co-ordinate with the contractor, the project team and consultants (team) on matters related to architectural details, materials and workmanship, builder's work requirements, statutory compliance and issues related to site progress

• Support the Project Architect for resolution of Contractor's queries during the course of construction

• Assist the Project Architect team in resolving site problems and conflicts among various trades in relation to architectural matters and overall construction process

• Monitor contractor's performance and prepare monthly progress reports

• Attend site and co-ordination meetings

• Assist in the vetting and co-ordination of architectural variation works

• Inspect and witness site tests as required

• Participate in the weekly safety walk and checking construction activities

• Carry our any other duties as and when required by the Project Team Leader and Project Architect

• Any other relevant job details as assigned by the respective senior staff and/ or the project director to suite the project requirement

Requirement:

• Member of HKIA or Registered Architect of ARB; 

• Min. 8 years of post-qualification experience;

• Experience in large scale A&A works;

• Experience in data centre will be an advantage
