System Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design, setup and maintenance the IT infrastructure (AD/DHCP/DNS/Exchange/virtualization)including servers, storage, network, database and security systems.
• Establish maintenance workflow standards, document baseline equipment status, and maintain version-controlled updates.
• Implement system upgrades, patch installations, and performance optimizations as required to improve platform efficiency and generate relevant reports.
• Monitor, optimize, and report on system performance; execute maintenance and disaster recovery drills while developing comprehensive DR plans to ensure infrastructure resilience
• Monitor infrastructure, perform system maintenance with reporting, and coordinate third-party vendors for equipment fault resolution.
• Generate task lists or reports to better manage daily tasks at regular intervals.
• Achieve KPI and comply with requirements in SLA at satisfactory level.
• Must be flexible to assist with emergency situations (e.g., special demands or system breakdowns) and collaborate effectively, including during off-hours if needed
• Take up ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Associate Degree or above in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Minimum 13 years infrastructure supporting Management experience on capacity planning and infrastructure management.
• Hand-on operation on Network and firewall setup.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016+/Active Directory (AD)/Hyper-V environments, including Failover Cluster deployment/troubleshooting, infrastructure upgrades/migrations, and patch management.
• Manage the basic infrastructure environment and configure a monitoring system for surveillance.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese.
