Product Development Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Engineer who can prototype and take new products from concept to reality. Your role will encompass prototyping, soldering, PCBA design, technical problem-solving, and material procurement. A strong understanding of electronics, including the ability to read schematics, and check requirements documents.  The ideal candidate is a flexible problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is happy help with any design and manufacturing job.

What you'll be doing

• Support the Product Development Manager through all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Source electronic components and managing relationships with suppliers and vendors in the region.  battery packs, power supplies, LEDs, and other PCBA
• Coordinate the shipping of prototypes and engineering samples between Hong Kong and the mainland.
• Assist with office/lab set up and maintenance.
• Perform hands-on prototyping, rework, debugging.

What we're looking for

• Excellent cooperative attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Keen technical proficiency in electromechanical design
• Able to work from our Kowloon office
• Hands-on soldering and prototyping experience.
• Must keep paperwork and studio organized and clean
• Proficiency with PCBA and schematic software
• Education in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, product design or a related field is desirable but not required. Knowledge and ability are most important.
• English proficiency sufficient for daily communication.
• Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin.
