Senior Engineering Supervisor/Assistant Maintenance Manager

Job description:

• Assist the Head of Maintenance Department to supervise the daily operations and attend meetings in the absence of the Head of Maintenance Department;
• Assist in effective planning, scheduling, implementing, monitoring and evaluating preventative and corrective maintenance programs;
• Supervise and direct all staff in the department to carry out their tasks effectively in compliance with the hospital policies and procedures, statutory requirements, DoH guidelines and COP’s;
• Responsible for handling daily documents such as operation licenses, certificates renewal, maintenance agreement, tendering and inspection records conducted by Government Authority such as DoH, and related remedial actions;
• Ensure compliance with legislative and DoH’s requirements and required certifications;
• Maintain track records for all building services, equipment, parts, etc;
• Analyze and monitor department budgets and expenditure progress, including the consumption of energy for hospital utilities;
• Any other tasks as directed by the Head of Maintenance Department.

Qualification:

• Higher diploma/Certificate in Building Services/Engineering, Degree holders preferred;
• Must be Grade A and Grade B Registered Electrical Worker;
• Min. 8 years of experiences in hospital, hotel and/or property engineering operation with at least 5 years of experiences in relevant positions
• Solid knowledge in all-rounded Engineering daily operations, services and etc.;
• Familiar with Government Authority such as DoH guidelines and COP will be an advantage;
• Knowledge in AutoCAD/MS Office is preferred
• Post qualification experience with Associate Membership of BSOMES / HKIE / CIBSE or equivalent professional association memberships will be an advantage;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Less experience and qualification candidates will be considered for the position of Senior Engineering Supervisor.
