AVK Valves Company Hong Kong Ltd is the AVK Group’s sales company responsible for sales in Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan and Korea. The AVK Group is a global multinational company, specializing the development, production and sale of valves and associated equipment around the world. AVK’s main focus areas are water, wastewater, Civil works, storm water and drainage, household gas distribution, fire protection as well as a presence in industry segments, such as Oli, Gas, Chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and others.
The Role:
This role is an exciting opportunity for a strong profile, with an independent working style to help develop AVKs business in Hong Kong, Macau and Korea within sales and marketing, covering all business segments.
- Quotation Support: Support the sales team in responding to enquiries and making sales quotations. This involves communicating with our worldwide factories to clarify product specifications, item codes etc.
- Project Business: Support the sales team in Identifying and tracking relevant projects throughout the different areas, promote the company’s products to relevant stakeholders and work with the sales team to submit well-structured tender bids.
- Marketing and Sales Tools: Work with our sales team and operations team in drafting, proposing and creating marketing material based on product information, this involves product presentations, case stories, new brochures and Internal website posts.
- Sales Management: Work with the team in managing the sales to existing customers and identify where the company might increase its business with existing customers. This includes supporting the sales team in timely updating the CRM system.
- Monthly Reporting: Help the sales team provide monthly report to the General Manager, as well as providing sales forecasts.
- Support Sales Activities and Exhibitions: Support the sales team in planning and executing exhibitions in the various areas
- Ad hoc Sales tasks: Support the sales managers as needed on various other sales related tasks.
Potential for Development:
A great benefit to this role, is the potential for future development. The development opportunities for this role are to become an assistant sales manager and oversea his or her own portfolio of customers. This accelerated development journey is supported by monthly 1-1 with the sales team leaders as well as quarterly coaching with the Regional General Manager and options for additional education and training courses. In addition to this, the team is expected to further increase their scope of coverage to countries in South East Asia.
Qualifications, skills & experience required
· University degree in Engineering, Business or operations a plus
· Experience from other roles in B2B sales a plus.
· 2-4 years experience preferred, exceptional fresh graduates will also be considered
· Strong stakeholder management skills.
· Self-starter, independent working style.
· Strong IT savviness a plus but not a must
· Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin required
