Web Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites and applications

• Assist with developing, managing and maintaining other digital platforms such as web apps, mobile apps and Windows/Mac apps

• Design and implement new features and functionalities

• Ensure high performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

• Optimize websites and applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues

• Implement and maintain API integrations

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Communicate and collaborate with marketers and trainers for campaigns and product resources

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in back-end development with a focus on WordPress

• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies

• Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and custom post types

• Knowledge of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

• Experience with database management and optimization

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willing to learn new things and in a fast paced environment

• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
