Title: Tech Infrastructure and Security Engineer
This role is responsible for overseeing the core IT infrastructure, system reliability, and security protocols that underpin Eythos’ day-to-day operations across all locations. The position will ensure the integrity, availability, and efficiency of all digital and physical systems used within the company. This includes network and hardware maintenance, cybersecurity safeguards, device and user authentication processes, and facility access controls.
The role supports not only Eythos globally, but also provides infrastructure and security expertise to group companies. Frequent travel and on-site presence during art fair s and new site launches is expected.
This is a mid-level role with technical ownership and high visibility. Title may evolve over time depending on scale and scope. Core Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure across Eythos facilities (e.g. routers, firewalls, switches,server cabinets, power backup)
- Ensure uptime, system reliability, and business continuity plans are in place and tested regularly
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity best practices across all workstations, devices, accounts, and tools
- Oversee cloud infrastructure and services across platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP etc.)
- Coordinate employee credentialing, workstation setup, and access control (digital and physical)
- Configure and manage user access levels (e.g. Google, Lark, etc.), including sign-on, permissions, and off boarding
- Lead installation and maintenance of physical security hardware (e.g. badge access, surveillance,
alarm systems)
- Serve as main contact for technology vendors and external IT/security service providers
- Support new branch openings by setting up secure infrastructure and hardware in advance of operations
- Provide on-site tech support and setup at major events and art fairs (e.g. Frieze, Kiaf, etc.)
- Deliver infrastructure and security support to group company and its affiliated businesses when required
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, systems reliability, and cybersecurity within a corporate environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with hardware maintenance, including routers, firewalls, switches, server cabinets, and power backup systems.
- Familiarity with physical security hardware such as badge access systems, surveillance, and alarm systems.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Proficient in managing and configuring user access control systems (e.g., Google Suite, Lark, etc.).
- Knowledge of systems monitoring and management tools, including those for uptime monitoring, incident management, and cloud infrastructure monitoring.
- Experience with penetration testing, system integrity checks, and vulnerability assessments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain security and operational standards.
- Willingness to travel frequently and be on-site during major events and site launches.
Flexibility to handle high-pressure situations and resolve IT/security incidents quickly.
