System Development Manager

Role & Responsibilities:

• Support the IT Director on business development and client engagement
• Manage internal development team both in HK and SZ
• Manage software vendors to have meaningful deliverables to us
• Diagnose a problem, conduct analysis, and develop solutions to address the client's business & technical challenges
• Use diagram tools and methodologies to create visual representations on business and application capabilities, features and functions
• Make final confirmation on all aspects of development activities including technology stacks, development cycle and coding standards
• As a mentor, give technical advice to developers
• Lead, manage and implement IT digitalization projects to ensure the timeliness and quality of deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Statistics or related fields
• Minimum 10 years' experience in application development and experience in application architecture and system design.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in software development team management.
• Be aggressive and willing to work in start-up environment
• Self-starter, can handle multi-tasks, and work flexibly
• Familiar on how to deal with software vendor(s)
• Good at SaaS system analysis and design
• In-depth understanding in microservice design
• Expertise in Golang, React and database design
• Familiar with Rabbit MQ and Canal
• Experience in mobile development in either Swift, Kotlin or Dart
• Enterprise experience in managing Kubernetes deployments across the cloud and on-premises
• Familiar with various IT Automation Tools/ Platform, such as Terraform, Ansible
• Container management and container orchestration experience – Docker, Kubernetes
• Cloud computing deployment and management experience – AWS, GCP or Azure
• Experience with Linux infrastructure and shell script
• Experience with managing and troubleshooting at Cloud/Linux servers
• Good written and verbal skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
